You’ve probably heard of the ramen burger craze by now. Or maybe you’ve been living under a rock. Or without interwebz. Regardless, we thought it was absolutely necessary to re-create this weird and wonderful burger, but using Indomie! We used original mi goreng, but you can use any of the Indomie varieties for this.

I must preface this recipe by saying that it’s not for everyone. The noodle buns are dense, so you can also experiment by making them thinner, depending on your preference. I also like it better when there’s more chilli sauce and kecap manis on it, so keep adding more if you like it sweet and spicy!

This recipe will make 2 Indomie burgers.

For the 2 beef patties
250g beef mince
1 egg
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs (or until you reach desired consistency)
salt and pepper

It Hurts

I’m looking at you and I saw your empty eyes looking at nothing

It makes me frowned while asking you in silent, “What’s wrong with you dear?”

I’m looking at you and saw your tears falling like a shiny pearl

It makes me cry so much inside

Though the tears doesn’t falls from my eyes

I’m coming to you asking what had happened to you

You just smile dryly and said, “It’s nothing. I’m okay.”

But I know that you’re now trying to hide your pain deep inside your heart

I’m looking at you while you still trying hard not to make me worry

But the harder you try hiding your pain, the harder my heart will be crying and harder for me to breath

The harder you try to hid it, the harder I could feel the pain and tightness that you felt in silent and your dry smile you showed me

I don’t know why do I always felt awful and broken every time I know that you bear something painful inside you by yourself

And I also have no idea why every time I see your tears falling from your reddish bright eyes, my heart’s broken bit by bit

What I know is that it will hurts me most every time I realized that I can’t do anything to ease your pain

Because I know that I’m a stranger for you

And nobody puts their heart in a stranger’s sleeves

But I just want you to know, though you will never let your pain known by me, that I love you

What Should You Prepare To Be a Successful Journalist?

This essay I made for my final test on last semester’s final exam. Suggestion are welcome~ ^^

 

Nowadays, demands of information grows significantly. That is one of the reason why journalism major in IISIP become the most popular major to be studied for anyone who interested to journalism in Jakarta. Journalism isn’t hard to be learned. But it is suggested that journalism students have to prepared theirselves to be a great journalist. These are three things which every journalism students have to prepared to be a successful journalist.

First, it requires a strong will to be a successful journalist. Because only with a strong will achieve something, in this case to be a successful journalist, you will passing through the way to success easily and without wary. Beside, a will is needed to make you always focused to your goal.

Second, a successful journalist-soon-to-be have to prepared their mental to face any difficulties along their journey. Difficulties will always haunt everyone who wants to achieve success. But if you had a good mental-state when faced with one, you’re gonna have courage to counter it.

Last but not least, to be a successful journalist you have to widening your knowledge and be an open-minded person. This is the most important you have to prepare. Because journalist seems to know most of all things. And people count on them to get any important information they need. If a journalist has narrow knowledge, the story they cover won’t be reliable to public.

Those are three things a journalism student has to prepare to be a successful journalist. Without one of them, you won’t be a successful journalist. Just being a good one. Why get a minimum result if you can get a maximum one?

This is my officially first post in this blog. And I’m gonna post something related to my birthday. Simply because today is my birthday. ^^

So 21 years ago, on this date of this month, an extraordinary baby girl named Sherly was born to this ordinary world. And now the extraordinary baby girl has grown up. But as Britney Spears says, she is not a girl anymore but not yet a woman too.

Now what she has to do is to live her life on her 20’s phase. To be cliche, she has to be a better person in her 21. Better than when she was 20.

Well, happy birthday to me. Wishing I have all the best in my 21 year-old life. 🙂
